About UsS² Audio is comprised of two headphone enthusiasts, Steve and Scott. We met through the terrific online forum, Head-Fi. Steve - a woodworker at heart - has built a number of custom headphone stands for various Head-Fi members out of various exotic woods. Scott started to delve into the DIY side of the hobby by recabling his headphones and building various interconnects for his equipment. After Scott recabled his Goldring DR150 headphones and posted his results to the forum, Steve sent his own DR150s to Scott for recabling. This was the genesis of an online friendship that has been going strong for well over a year. Scott built a number of interconnects for Steve and they also collaborated on a few projects for other Head-Fi'ers. But it was a collaboration to build a wooden docking station for their iPods that sparked the idea of forming a partnership and offering our wares - both individual and collaborative - in a more formal manner. Thus S² Audio was created. We both share similar design aesthetics as well as business philosophies. We believe there is elegance in simplicity. Our attention to detail and putting our customers first and foremost is a priority. We are honest with our customers and treat them as we prefer to be treated - with the utmost respect.
